Launched at the curtain raiser of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations on Sunday, July 27th 2014 AKG Public School (AKGPS) is the Golden Jubilee school, the latest venture of the Asan Memorial Association in honour of its founder Secretary Sri. A.K. Gopalan fondly called AKG. The school is located in the 12-acre campus of Asan College of Arts and Science at Jaladampet on Velachery Tambaram Road, surrounded by pollution free plush green surroundings.
