The Alpha Group of Institutions ever since its establishment in 1967 has scripted success stories and has created new benchmarks in the ï¬eld of education. Founded by Late Mr.M G Thomas and managed by the Alpha Educational Society, the Alpha Group presently runs and manages seven educational institutions. It offers State, National and International curricula at its various centres. Alpha schools offer the CBSE curriculum at CIT Nagar and Porur and the International Cambridge curriculum at Sembakkam. They also offer the Matriculation Higher Secondary School Certiï¬cate (Std XII) at Sembakkam and CIT Nagar. The Alpha Arts and Science College offers a wide range of Bachelor degree programmes- Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Visual Communication, Computer Applications, Business Administration, Commerce general and Commerce (Information System Management) as well as Master degree programmes in Bio-Technology and Information Technology.
