Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Jethian, Gaya was established in 1987 and located in the foothills of Jethian Ghatti. This was the place where Lord Buddha visited, after enlightenment, and stayed for some days. There is a Buddha Mandapa near the vidyalaya, newly constructed by Japanese.
