The School was established in the year 1968 by the Punjabi Hindu Biradari, Ranchi, in the cherished memory of Lala Lajpat Rai, the great freedom fighter and builder of modern India. Primary section is comtinuing at its original place at overbridge and for the Senior Secondary Section, a new, huge, double storied building has been constructed at Pundag, with all the modern facilities. Classes from Pre-Nursery to Std. XII are run here. The Adjacent building has vast open grounds and the atmosphere in and around the building is pollution free, calm and congenial for higher studies.
