Benjamin Rice and Mrs. Jane Rice of the London Missionary Society. The school was initially run with the generosity and sacrifices of many residents of England and was functioning as a boarding school for the local girl children of Bengaluru. After the sound foundation laid by the founders Rev. Benjamin Rice and Mrs. Jane Rice, the school steadily continued under the eminent leadership of personalities like Mrs. Muller and Miss. Bragg. In 1908, Miss M. L. Butler a lady who had good missionary zeal, took charge as a Principal and served the school with true charity and selfless commitment for 32 years.
